In order to reduce response times to critical production events SCADA applications can extend their alarm capabilty using technologies such as SMS and email. Win-911 allows selective alarms to be sent via SMS from a SCADA or PLC when different limits occur or if for example a planned maintenance run hours event is triggered for key equipment.

The direct connection allows Win911 to work with alarms that are configured in your SCADA. Your SCADA system determines the alarm, WIN-911 does the remote alarm notification, and users can acknowledge the alarms in your SCADA locally or by phone (using Win911).
