BREA, California – 20 October 2008 – Parsec Automation Corp., a world leader of real-time decision support software solutions and enterprise manufacturing intelligence (EMI) software, announced today that the newest generation of its award-winning software TrakSYS™ 6.0 has been chosen as a finalist for Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year Award.
Reed Business Information notified finalists in advance of their November 2008 issue of Plant Engineering, in which all finalists will be listed. "It’s gratifying to have the effectiveness of our software offerings recognized by such a distinguished panel of judges," said Eddy Azad, Parsec’s CEO.
This is significant given that finalists are chosen from 17 categories within the plant engineering market. Winners will be chosen by industry peers - plant managers consisting of current and potential customers – and will be announced mid-January 2009 followed by an awards ceremony on March 30, 2009 in Charleston, South Carolina.
